What a steep lot needs.

Water always wins if you let it

A hard mountain rain will find the low spot. If that spot is your foundation or the middle of your driveway, the fix is to give the water a better path. Grading comes before anything cosmetic.

Gravel drives need shape

Dumping fresh gravel on a rutted drive buys one season. A drive that lasts has a crown or cross-slope so water sheds to the side, and a place for that water to go.

Concrete on a slope needs a base

Walkways and steps on a hillside need a compacted base and thoughtful joints. Freeze and thaw cycles in winter will crack a slab poured on soft fill.

Common questions

Do you pour concrete walkways and steps on slopes?

Yes. You can see curved walkways and hillside steps we poured in our project photos.

Can you fix a washed-out gravel driveway?

Yes. We regrade the drive so water sheds properly, then resurface it with fresh gravel.

My basement gets damp. Is that something you handle?

Yes. Waterproofing is one of our services. We’ll look at where the water is coming from, which is often grading or gutters, before recommending a fix.
