Painting, staining and pressure washing in North Georgia.

Cabins, decks, porches and rails washed, prepped and finished by hand. Good prep is most of a good finish, so that’s where we spend the time.

Getting a finish that lasts in a wet climate.

Prep decides everything

Stain laid over dirt, mildew or peeling finish fails early, no matter what the can cost. Washing, drying time and repairs come before the first coat.

Wood has to dry

After washing, wood needs time to dry before it takes stain. In humid mountain air and deep shade, that takes longer than most people expect. Rushing it traps moisture under the finish.

Too much pressure does damage

A pressure washer in the wrong hands leaves furry, gouged wood. A chemical wash and the right tip do the cleaning without carving up your deck.

Common questions

What is water sanding?

It’s a washing method that takes weathered wood back to a clean, even surface, so new stain soaks in and colors evenly. We use it along with a chemical wash on decks and log walls.

Do you stain decks, or only whole houses?

Both. A single deck, a porch and rails, or the entire exterior.

Will you fix rotten boards before staining?

Yes. Rotten wood repair is one of our core services, and it happens before any finish goes on.
